Can't open links from this computer and will admit I don't know much about the airplane and glider dynamic however I can only assume that the pulling aircraft would not be loaded with supplies or troops. I don't know how weight is modeled for troops or supplies in c-47s but I can venture to guess an actual fully loaded C-47 wouldn't be able to haul a second fully loaded dead weight a/c.

Depends: if its a jeep maybe not, if its troops then probably. Also depends on the tow plane: C-47 probably, bomber almost guarenteed no.

10 perk points allows you to tow a glider with a goon containing extra troops or a jeep. Troops in glider, supps in goon maybe. Just a thought to expand the airbourne troop dynamic.  Anyone........Bueller?

It only takes 10 troops to capture a base so why would you need to carry more?  Would the goal of this be to overwhelm a base of defenders with twice as many troops?  I guess I don't understand the purpose.

Allow for quick smash and grab missions. Kill the town and drop troops.

That didn't answer my question.  How does more than 10 troops accomplish anything other than overwhelming defenders who are trying to kill them?

Oh, found another reason for it: Couple of C-47's up for a mission to take two bases, the other two get shot down. Oh hey, look at that, we still take both.

So the purpose of having a glider is to have one C47 fly to base#1 drop 10 troops and then fly to base#2 and drop the next 10?   :lol
Thanks for proving my point this wish is absolutely pointless.

Hell, if the new strat involves bridges, gliders would be a sweet addition.

Thats only on the knits because they suck at helping eachother. I'm not even joking, knights are just about the easiest prey since they all seem to fly alone.
