My inclination is to agree, just wanted to know why so many folks that they have to be permanently squelched?

I already have that option built into my head...(ignore)...besides that, I can be more annoying than any 2 year old with an attitude if someone wants to try and be an a-hole.

I can only count 3, not counting the idiot who called me the "N" word the other night because I shot down with cannon a Panzer he seemed to think was reserved for him to climb to alt and drop a bomb on. At a base I'd been at for an hour working GVs with a Yak-9. 2 months in the game, under that name at least, and this goof is already assigning targets for people.

4 aint bad overall to put on permanent squelch. Maybe a squeeker or two that babbles, tho I dont personaly dislike. 9 hours a day I have to listen to angry, judgemental, ignorant people. I dont want to hear it in my game.

Bring on the perma-squelch.

BTW Im so white I could be see thru. But he didnt know that.

record your sorties (I do) and report anybody that abuses vox.  You can permanently squelch anybody but a better option would be to really kick these people out. game is so much better without them.  We shouldnt really need a perma squelch if we all had zero tolerance for ignorant people.

how this is somewhat a good idea. Think about the people that have changed. That goes for all the Perma Squelch people out there that want this.

If we had this feature everyone would squelch the same person then all of a sudden that person changes his ways because they become mature and he cant do anything about it because yall have him perma squelch..

Now for the people about to say, " Oh well he shouldnt of been a squeeker to begin with " Think about when you was young and you just couldnt stop talking. Then think about when you finally matured. Or think about this. What about the days a person might have one or two more beers than normal. and he starts poping off. you perma squelch him. but you didnt know that most of the time the person is a cool kat.

anyway i put up my Defense for this. I say no to Perma Squelch.

This isnt about squeekers. This is about adults. As far as a player changing I could careless. This is about Repeat offenders that constantly abuse vox and text. I am not about to become a NARC to HTC but, I would like to have a feature of the game to be able to mute someone until I felt like unmuting them. Now i have to type it everytime I log on. IMHO

when somebody tunes to you and insults you, that person should be banned.  nobody and I belive nobody should be able to do that.  specially on vox.  remember drd....  people who do it constantly should really be banned but ht cant do it till we send it proof.  ht makes the decision but its up to us to send the film,  as for people who are drunk, if you cant drink and be civil then it aint my problem.  I dont pay to put up with dorks that feel they can talk whatever on vox or others who cant handle drinking.

Semp i do agree with you on this alittle.

but still a Perm squelch is not the solution. Neither is a Perm Bann.

If i am correctly when you squelch someone it last till you logg out or they logg out. now all you have to do is Squelch them not say a word and they will most likely not know hey logg out and back in and i can talk to this guy again.

yes i am not saying that you shouldnt send your Video's / Film into HT. That is always helpful. But i do disagree that a perm squelch / Perm Bann is really nessicary for a person that has a few bad days.

BUT on anther note. If you are having a bad day type in .radio 5 (your name ( person having bad day)) and trash talk your own self so the other people dont have to hear.
