i hope it will happend in 2.18! We got all score for the turn and burn guys, like kills per hours, kills per sortie and stuff, but there are many guys like me who mostly flying for RTB and KD ratio. So why not add this little number

What Dhyran wants is a fair request, it is good indicator of sucess as a fighter pilot if thats what you are looking for. Real WWII pilots flew sorties getting kills untill someone killed them. That is essentially what a kill streak would show, an interesting statistic for anyone wanting to know it.

Would also add even more timidness to the game. "You killed me and ruined my perfect streak!"

The score system was not changed it just shows how many points you scored when you landed now. Well it shows some random number that looks like it would be the points you landed.

Real world war two pilots went on missions they were told to go on regardless of the risk to them.
Real world war two pilots flew 200 missions without seeing an enemy.
Real world war two pilots had to land on bombed airfields and get lost due to compass or radio failures.
Your not a real world war two pilot.
But aside from that, there are many many mechanisms to record fighter achievement in the game.

But I could care less about the request, just the structure of it seemed silly to me.

did you read my posting ? i said so we have a new bomber score when we will have a fighter kill score? where is a bashing on buffers? that wasnt the intention, i just wants to point on the changes that happend and which are fine for me, nothing more. Everyone has a different subject to play AH2, different beloved rides. So do i, and my wish is haveing a fighter kill streak score. It has nothing to do with the score system, it simple counts how much kills been made without getting killed or captured.

Agree. I appreciate the fact there is a bit of recognition when a bomb group accomplishes its mission AND returns home as intact as possible, with our without kills. Call it a "name-in-lights text buffer clogger" if you will. But this aspect of gameplay recognizes those with the patience to pull it off. It recognizes those on the other side of the fence with the patience to lie in wait and attack, and land with kills.

No timidness would be added if they used 30-40 ENY rides. All the timidness in the world is not going to help you in a C202 or P40B.

Not that I want to argue or split hairs here. But the point behind the bomber score thing is they have had no recognition of their real function for over 9 years. That finally got fixed.

You can not say that about fighters.

Now its not a bad idea, nor am I against it, but leave the bombers out of it.
They were long long long past overdue.

Any fighter pilot that is complaining about recognition of bomber pilots is not a real fighter pilot. Reason? Bombers are more prevalent now and bombers are the number one target for fighters. Anyone that wants to primarily shoot down fighters and ignores the bombers is not a fighter pilot.
