This is an awesome idea! But the one thing to tip you off, is that the country alias is still the same, and you would still see the plane name instead of the player name. Hence, if you were a bishop, you would see a green plane marked as P-51, but with a rook marking. Not too hard to tell if someone is a spy, unless you are quite dense. And radar flashes as well, but the dot is green.

I love this Idea + 100

Not quite.. Just different.

For example, the LW fuel was based off of (oddly enough) coal. Still gave them wonderful performance when they needed it, but it behaved differently at different settings than allied fuel did... So using it in US planes might not work as well. Nor would using allied fuel in LW planes, sometimes.

the captured bombers were not flown on bombing raids, but were used for training purposes

I haven't heard of any captured bombers being flown on bombing missions by the LW, but they weren't used just for training as some were flown operationally in other sorts of missions.

For training purposes as were the Allied fighters they got thier hands on too.
Although KG-200 claims to have used some of the B-17s they had for covert
ops - resupply, reconn and minor para droppings behind enemy lines.

Talk about something that would let people game the game...wide open door there.

Then again, how would you "capture" a plane in AH? Jump out of you're plane, sneak up to a plane on the runway, shoot the pilot and jump in? Sounds like a lot of useless work for not much of anything useful.

Sorry, the audience has voted...here's a consolation prize for you...  :joystick:  :neener:

No, it would just be a hanger option at a  very high perk price.

Oh, well, atg least they listened to me about empty fuel tanks not streaming fuel...... :neener:
