I flew it & noticed no stuttering or loss of frame rate.  Little curious of the take off spot tho. :lol  Those pics you just posted look sweet.  Nice texturing. :aok

Thanks Ranger, I dont know whats up with the takeoff though. Something must have changed from the previous version, I believe that's one you sent me a good bit ago before the update.

For those who havent flown it and wish to here is a permanant download link....

Since it's a custom airfield, you have to lay the entry points in manually, starting with the hanger first, then the runway points.

Have you ever had to do that before?  If not (or for others' future reference), first lay it as a vehicle entry point, as it is the only entry point type that gives you the directional arrow of with way the entry point is facing.  Once its rotated to the direction you want, change it to a fighter or bomber entry point.  I don't know why the fighter & bomber entry points don't give you the directional arrow, it's just always been that way. :salute

I have done fighter entries but was not aware of that trick, thanks for the tip!

Check back tomorrow, I might have all of the textures finalized and have them in game.

Will post it up if I get them done.

Here is the course with the final textures (well for now anyways)...

http://www.esnips.com/doc/1fc6eb73-15fc-4c37-8e23-e363c6a3c945/Redbull

(New upload, see if this cures the CTD)

I adjusted the start to the north so that the slalom is used more and added a knife edge gate between the half cuban eight and the U-turn. Still need to work on how the game draws them at distance. Probably should get a low LOD structure going, much like a radar tower I suppose.

Z Height on a few objects was off a couple of feet, I dont want upload another one but its fixed.

Other than the drawing distance what issues did you notice?

(Btw, I am going to have to slow down progress for a week or two while I finish up finals. Should be able to keep things moving though so Id like to keep dialog up.)

Very nice RB setup and air-gate objects. The route map available?

The air-gates LOD distances are off. Even with max. setting the full air-gate is visible at very short range.

Also the LOD's seems strange to me. The air-gate object is disappearing in following order:

- top part of cone
- upper mid part of cone
- lover mid part of cone
- bottom part of cone
- barge

Is this intentional?

The LOD is the biggest remaining problem, its not intentional and why its like this is escapes me. I am sure its a simple fix, likely just a matter of changing a few settings. If you zoom in the are drawn completely regardless of range.  I am going to make simple cones for a low LOD model soon, perhaps tonight.

Under object data I currently have these tags...

MaxDist=18000
DoNotCull=1
PolyId=20007
NoCollide=1

I am confident the problem lies with one of those, do you have any idea Ex-Jazz?
