« on: December 05, 2009, 12:24:12 AM »
I know there is nothing anybody can do aboiut it, even HTC, but i wanted to complain about thoose jerks who join your missions and leave after they know the target, go to the other side, and tell all there buddies where the low and slow bombers are at and where they're going. Anyway thats my complaint for today.  :old:

NOE heavy bombers are far more annoying, your guns still work whether they know you are coming or not.  It's your choice to have no altitude buffer to protect you  :aok

i don't understand those missions where they go NOE and capture an undefended base, then pat each other on the back. WTG!

imho, HTC should stop a NOE madness. It will solve your problem too  :lol

How about you make a mission that's not another NOE raid?? Make a 20K level bombing mission. That way the enemy knows where you're all at whether or not a spy tells them  :D

lets face it in WW2 bombers had ESCORTS if they  went in low / slow , without effective cover they would have been deadmen.

That is the risk you take unfortunately.  Whilst spying and doing what you suggested is bad form, for experienced players who know how to read the map, a field flashing with no GV spawn and no dar.  Indicates at least one plane on the deck.   it is rare for a lone porker to come in NOE.

ill agree 100% with bruv. 1st thing i do if i see a base flashing is check for spawn points, then check if the vh is up at the field for the spawn.

What kind of poor mission design has bombers low and vulnerable? Blame yourself, not the spiez. Unless, of course, you were seeking to "sneak" and avoid combat in a massively multiplayer combat game. Were you?

Country change time in the Early, Mid, and Late War arenas is 1 hour.

If someone wants to call out a mission to the other country, and they really are hard core about it, there is no way to stop them.  Cell phone, text messaging, Ventrilo, and so on are just a handful of ways to get the message to a buddy.

On the other hand, this issue is not as widespread as many players thinks it is.  There are a number of players who are incredibly paranoid about this.  i.e. "If I get shot down in a mission it has to be spies that caused it!!!"

I am not saying it does not happen.  It does, but it is doubtful anyone could devise a system that can prevent it.  Give it your best shot.

Currently, the best way to stop it, is to shoot down the other guy before he shoots you down.  Ta-da!
