Is there any way I can keep my sub going?
« on: December 05, 2009, 05:20:54 PM »
Well, I just found out today that the PC I had been missing for a week and a half now ALSO has a dead motherboard, probably caused by my uncle not being gentle with it   :O  :furious  :cry  and I don't know what I'm gonna do, I don't know how long RMA service takes, and I don't wanna lose my AH sub because I haven't been on, is there anything I can do to keep my sub going while I fix my good PC? anyone in particular "up high" I need to contact?

You do not lose your subscription because you're not "on".

Some players are not on for months at a time...

I'm pretty sure that your account stays active as long as you're paying for it.

Is there any way I can keep my sub going?

Run on batteries untill they are exhausted then surface.... preferably at night .... and sail on diesels. The diesels generators will recharge the batteries for your next run underwater.

I can't keep THAT sub going until I get my PC fixed  :D   Silent Hunter 4 may be a sweet game, but it gets very boring, you can't just go somewhere else and join in some more fun like AH,lol

Your account stays open as long as you pay. You never have to even log on.

Yeah you're account will still be there as long as you're paying the bill, just don't let your XO run your squad for you while you're gone.

What XO?  That's another thing I'm worried about, I don't want my guys to think I quit or somethin because I just disappeared with no warning, and none of my ther squaddies rly have a good grasp of how to LEAD the squad, we'll all make ideas and what not  but they usually let me set up what they want to do for us...
