And some overlook that most illegals send a good chunk of their money back to their family in where ever they come from.  I over heard some of them saying that they were getting ready to head back to mexico cause they had a good amount of money and that the economy isn't getting any better.  Kinda funny when some illegals are bailing like rats off a sinking ship.

Legals send money back home as well.

here's another one.

the indians that pump gas at the station where my shop is. the afternoon guy was 20 years in the indian army. he did/does have a pension. i think he said it's the equilivent of about $300.00 a month. i think he's only making 7.50 or 8.00 an hour here(he wouldn't/couldn't answer me........anyway, he sends the majority back to india to his family. what he makes here is over 2x what he can get a job doing over there.

he's not illegal, although he is only on a temp. work visa.

Having lived in Mexico for a while I learned some things , if some person gets a job here at a plant or shop he will call home and tell everyone he knows about his job . Then from his pueblo they begin to come north and one at a time they will work themselves in to that place . At that point these folks call home and so on and so on . At many plants and facilitys across the U.S. if you asked from where all of these folks came from you would find they are almost all from a certian area and the first guy brought it all on . Now having seen many very poor places in Mexico and lived among them for four years I feel for them and understand . However I also know what happens to Americans living abroad and the rules they must follow . I have seen my own countrymen disrespected , taken advantage of and humiliated badly . So we should do what is fair and take care of our own first and foremost for jobs and training / education . Everyone else can come after IMHO.

I have absolutely no problems with the ones that are here legally sending funds back home, since most of them have paid tax on it.
