Youtube and Aces High
« on: December 05, 2009, 09:09:26 PM »
Quick question guys.

Aces High and Youtube do not mix well. Youtube will still play, but Aces High has a terrible load rate, is there anything I can do to fix this? (Other than not logging on youtube)

faster internet will fix that right up. Now, I got to a point before I sped my internet up that I could do both, but I would notice minor lag in AH, but it would still mess up every now and then.

Many factors come into play...
Your connection - how fast and how stable, others in your area sucking bandwidth from your ISP
File size, format and resolution on YouTube - does YouTube need a lot of overhead processing the stream
Traffic on YouTube - time of day is a huge factor here

I highly doubt YouTube cares or can even tell a video is from Aces High; it's just a video.

Here's a link for optimizing your video upload to YouTube.

You need an inflight movie when going on one of Chalenge's AwsomeO strat missions. They are way better than those pesky furballers fights.  Woohoo Bufferooos

No, I don't warp when it happens, the terrain an map just take forever to load.

There's this thing called bandwith, odds are, you're more than likely exceeding that.

There's also this thing called a graphics card, you're probably trying to make it do to much...

So unless you have T1 internet and the dual-GPU ATI Radeon HD 5970, don't log on. :D

You need an inflight movie just to pass the time to get up to Chalenge alt.
