I have no allerges that i am aware of, and i can eat every other food i can think of without this reaction.

its probably an additive. if you were slightly allergic to tomato youd've known about it years and years ago.

trying 'organic' tomato ketchup is the best first best. if you have that an nothing happens then you know its not the tomato itself.

The only difference between standard ketchup and organic is the sweetener. You are more likely to be allergic to agave syrup than sugar if its an allergy you have not discovered yet (since its likely that you would know about a sugar allergy by now).
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I'll tell you what it is, and it is indisputable.  Ketchup is the #1 worst condiment.  All it does it take away the taste of what you are eating.  Learn to love mustard.  Spices rule.

***My rule about ketchup should be totally ignored unless eating good meatloaf, or making a brown suger and apple cider based BBQ sauce.  Come to think of it, my rule sucks.

Maybe you are eating hunt's.  Does this happen when you eat Hienz?   I'd never eat the one John Kerry does, but her family's product is the best.

Ketchup Allergy

Quote
The most common symptoms of ketchup allergy include rash or flushed face, stomach ache, headaches, and diarrhea. It is important that you understand that if you continue to eatketchup even after you learn of your allergy , the symptoms may become worse or much more severe. The most common severe reaction to food allergens is anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis affects several different organ systems and usually leads to swelling and reddening of the mouth and throat. If you feel you are experiencing anaphylaxis, it is important that you contact medical help as soon as possible before you go into anaphylatic shock.

Because the most common side effect is skin irratation, it is most common for doctors to check for ketchup allergy using a skin test. During these skin tests, the doctors will look for rash or bumps caused by the allergen in ketchup to determine exactly what your problem is. This test is usually painless, and can be completed with only five minutes of your time. It is important that you take this time to ensure that you know the truth about your allergies and can take the right steps toward ensuring that your complications do not happen again.
