Terminator Salvation was fair...looks like the last one which might be a good thing considering they're running out of material...still better than Public Enemies. Not a Johnny Depp fan anyway.

GI Joe was a surprise too...lots of action, plot twists and turns.

Angels and Demons was very cool...nice sequel to DaVinci Code.

Waiting on Iron Man 2...  :old:

A few months ago they were filming some parts near where I live and work in L.A.  Was cool driving by Randy's Donuts and seeing Robert Downey Jr. in full Iron Man costume sitting in the middle of the giant donut eating lunch.

Terminator Salvation is even worse then Public Enemies. I rented both and feel like I was robbed.

I was told PE was a good picture. Frankly I cant sit there and see actual History trashed, the Police demonized, just so Micheal Mann can convince the pea brained that John Dillinger was a tragic figure. This all started with Bonnie and Clyde, two of the lowest life, scum bag Hillbillys that ever took a Lawmans bullet. Mann did it in HEAT too! That ridiculous dieing scene at the end reminded me of his G-man scene in PE where he told Dillinger's Love, "who in real life he didn't know very well even when he was doing 2 potatos at once", "by by Blackbird".

As if a G-man would travel to a cop killers ex-girlfriend to tell her that.

Terminator didn't suck as bad as PE...albeit it was a tad disappointing from my expectations. If you look at it for what it is...not a cerebral or fact based anything...the action was cool. I'm not a Christian Bale fan in any manner and his leading role just added to the disappointment.

PE was a hollywood stretch of the imagination based on factual characters...nothing more...what really killed it was Depps indulgence "a la Natural Born Killers" in his portrayal of Dillinger with Mann's desire for Shatneresque over dramatization. If you liked Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction or movies like that, PE is ok...not outstanding enough to own a copy but worth a watch if you're snowed in with nothing else to do.

If that dipstick Morton Downey Jr. doesn't get his fat head out of his rectum and stop pissin on other popular actors it will suck. Might be worse than that Daredevil spinoff movie Elektra.

PE was actually a well shot, well told, story. Its just the storyline that ruined it for me. They might as well had Tom Hanks play the bad guy.

You may like Public Enemies. Michael Mann is a very good director. Personally it would have been far better if somone else played Dillinger, portraying him as the dark, low life, he actually was. I think Depp plays the comedic pirate better then he does a criminal.

I hope you're right. I haven't seen it yet but it is on my list. I think Depp is a great actor. I've been a fan since 21 Jump Street. His performances in Gilbert Grape, Donnie Brasco and Blow were flawless. He reminds me of Errol Flynn. Best in light romantic comedy and more than hold his own in a drama.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

I enjoyed PE alot , I took it for what it is , entertainment only . Never count on Hollywood for the truth only for good movies / shows and even then its 50/50 .
Don't be afraid to put it out there , if it gets cut off it'll grow back
On your mark , Get set , go away !
