killshooter OFF

three things I wish for,one is after you shoot a wing or tail of they would just die then instead of floating?other is turn of kill shooter tired of being 200-400 out lining up a guy and out of nowhere a friendly swoops in right when I pull the trigger and kill myself.And to stop base hording in DA turn on the side balancing,real lame at night 22 knights 10 bish 6 rooks ?Make it four things please turn off F3 want to really see who has game without the easyviews and amazing deflection shots.

For your first point, that's probably just your internet connection, nothing you can do about it.

If you turned killshooter off, then what about the NOOBS who fly around shooting friendlies?  Turning killshooter off would create more problems than it would solve.  The simple solution to your problem it to look around you a bit just before you shoot.

And with the DA, how would you fix this?  As above, anything you did would just create even more worse problems.

In the last 8 weeks that you've been playing, how many time have you been 200 out from your target?  I've been playing this game 3 years and it's only happened for me once....... Or twice maybe.   :lol

But, all jokes aside.  As your SA, and your aim, gets better, those swooping friendlies will be far less a problem for you.  It takes some time.

O no I have about a year and a half just started to make some comments.And yes I understand the fact of the noobs,just wish there was more of a MA type furball,the MA is great I been going there alot more then the DA but I like the quick fix of fights.

I'm sure there is a viable reason for F3 in there, I just have never heard it.

You are right for the cause enough damage to the plane that it stops flying at that moment a kill should be awarded (or in my case an assist  :D) way too many people get robbed of kills when somebody just rides his plane to the ground and the pilot that shot him down gets killed.

as for the killshot thingy I havent killed shot myself in about 2 or 3 months and I love to fly in furballs.  but u gotta control your bullets, if you do lots of 2 or 3 second burst you gonna hit a friendly sooner or later, I see this all the time.  good pilots will know exactly where his enemy and his friends are.   

as for the f3 in da, dude that arena is just to practice your maneuvers.  dont worry what other do, it will save you lots of frustration over things that you have no control over.  the f3 view is supposed to be there so you can practice  your turning and SA, nothing more.  kills dont count, points dont matter, only what you are willing to learn.  :rock

You dont have to worry anymore about kills being stolen as they are floating to the ground, that problem was fixed a couple patches ago. Something like if a plane is critically damaged (vert/horizontal stab missing, whole wing missing, or on fire) it will not take anymore. If you did any of the things i stated and get an assist, its because the plane had damage before hand.

if you get killed before the other plane augers, or crashes to the ground u wont get the kill.  that still happens as of today.  sometimes those planes will float 20 to 30 seconds to the ground, lots of chances for his/her buddies to kill you.  what we need is a kill to be recorded as soon as the plane gets too damaged to fly.

You are 100% accurate sir!  However.......  A plane floating to the ground, in theory, isn't dead.  Think of FSO or any SEA.  I know I've been shot down, or rather "bravely bailed from a damaged plane"     So right now the way the system works, the kill isn't recorded unless you get "you have crashed" "you have been killed"

It's a bigger thing then making a small adjustment.

right so somebody gets robbed of a kill since the rest cannot kill this "dead" floater.  think that's something that needs to be changed.  me I always bail soon as my plane gets damaged to the point that i cant fly and that is so whoever damaged my plane gets the kill as it should be.  only time I dont bail is when ho or crash message then I play chicken with the othe guy see who bails first.

btw seen lots of planes get shot down close to ground or next to mountains and by some miracle they survive the landing.  this sucks since they get a non-kill bs message and the pilot that got him/her gets nothing.

Not entirely accurate,  damage is always applied no mater what state a plane is in, but after certain things are broken off damage is no longer scored.
