My first post since I started 3 years ago

I wouldn't be saying this if i didn't think it should be said so here goes..
It's clear to me that the bish and rook have the most organized squads.  They also have most of the best players.  Why then, do they have to gang up on the knights every time a new map starts up? Most of the knights just want to furball. Just a few of us like to take bases and win the war.  But isn't that what this
game is all about? One country against all odds winning the war?  It seems to me that the bish and rook
want to turn the late war arena into a dueling arena where score and rank supercede conquest over the map.
I think Aces High should settle the matter by adding a fourth country or reducing the number of countries to
two. It reminds me of a movie about a bunch of kids marooned on a deserted island where in a short time they start to turn into savages. What was it .. Lord of the Flys? maybe...~(:S:)~Kilhound

Just a few of us like to take bases and win the war.  But isn't that what this game is all about?

No. it's what is all about for you. That's fine, but there are many ways to play, to have fun and to win. Winning the war is just one of them.
Ganging the Knights another one

Yes it is only one way to play the game. The problem I have is this. The knights have a hard time recruiting new members and all of their larger squads wind up changing countries or disbanding because of lack of morale due to overwhelming odds. I predict that in a years time if the rooks and bish keep it up the size of the knight country
will be cut in half, maybe not in total members but in total number of vets to the game. when I first started playing someone told me that the knight country was just a recruiting ground for bish and rook. hmm makes you think he was right...

Will I do not see the differences in counties that much I do see a change in style of play in the little;e over a year I have been playing. The War used to be won by one country or another at least once or twice a week. But as of late it is only after Tuesday that happens most weeks. I have noticed that one person can take a VBase in less then 10 minutes and that does not matter who's counties they are. I have also noticed that when gving I get killed by bombs more then by other gv's. That just means I have to change the way I play to fit the game play. Change my tactics and new way to out think the other players. Game play will always be changing as update are done and new players start playing the game. Because each player has his or her style of play. So the game play might change of week to week or day to day or even hour to hour. That will always happen when you have people play and you are not playing against a computer. Some nights I don't like the play but I just keep playing and try and have fun for me. I'm not here to try and make all the other players happy, I'm here to relax and have fun for me. But the game has change in my eyes to not winning the war, to more of scoring points. So it is the way the game is played today but tomorrow it will be played in different way. Just wait it it will change again. Just my thinking on game play. It is all in Fun!!

Well I thought it was the Bish & Nits ganging on us and that Rooks want to just furball.

So I switch over to Nit and see its the Bish & Rooks ganging on us and the Nits just want to furball.

One of these days I'll try being a Bish and see how that works out.
