Japanese Plane (Raiden)
« on: January 09, 2002, 02:26:00 PM »
I usually only fly Corsairs, but anyone here have any idea if the Raiden will be introduced in AH? I doubt I'd fly it, but from reading Sakai's book, that machine sounded like a b---- to fight!  :)

Sorry for the lame posting, I'm in a slacking off of work mood!  :)  :o

(S) Good day to all, Just wanted to add that the Raiden was one of the great planes that the japs build but they did not build more than 450 of them. Jap pilots did not like it because it lacked vis from the cockpit and the turning ability of the zero. But it could hang with all the e-planes that the american had at the time. I for sure will fly this bird if AH crew would make it. I also have stats and pics for this birs which i will post as soon as I get home from work. I been thinking about posting but you beat me too it bud  ;)(S).

Nope...but if your south of the mason dixon line and call some fellow in a raised pickup w/the Stars and Bars flying in the back a YANKEE ...your gonna die. Then they're gonna take your corpse, tie to their hood and do unspeakable things to it.

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

Go <bleep> yourself GRUNHERZ.

You're an idiot who didn't understand a thing I, or others, said.

I hate PC crap, but hating PC crap is not an excuse to be rude and hostile.

Your ilk seems to think it is.

I have a combat eval publication call" F6F-5 vs J2M3 Raiden" by TACITUS Publications done in the mid eighties. It is done by the same guy that did the "P40 vs A6M2" in the early seventies.

Now if someone will tell me how to post graphic pages on here I will post them.

Yes GRUNHERZ, your ilk.

The pathetic kind of Conservative who does things that otherwise go completely against Conservative ideals simply because he thinks that he is giving into Liberal ideas otherwise.  The kind of Conservative who has no understanding of the reasons behind being polite.  The kind of Conservative who pushes "family values" and then insists on being rude, insulting and boorish just because he doesn't know what "political correctness" is and is afraid that he'll be PC if he is polite.

Don't the Conservative ideals include respect for other and a desire for a more civil, polite society like we had in the past?

FWIW, "political correctness" is idiocy from the left that has to do with changing simple adjectives such as "fat", "overweight" or "short"  that some people think have negative connotation into more complex descriptions using words that these people see as being "neutral".

PC has nothing to do with being polite and not using terms that are seen as ethnic slurs has to  do with being polite.  I have seen Japanese citizens on this very BB request that the term "Jap" not be used because it is a racial slur to them.  That is more than sufficient to justify not using the term simply to be polite.  The term "Japanese" is not a long, multi-word substitute word.

No spaces between IMG though^

Thats hould display the image. If you have no webhosting space, I do and would be willing to post it for you, and for the benefit of all readers.

Why not add the Raiden, they have one for CFS2.

Even better, they have the Gekko too.

Next, just add Karnak's much requested (in his sigfile) B-29 and you have the potential for a lot of online fun and adventure.
