No.  Leaving all ethical questions aside, it has significant negative gameplay effects. In reality it was a tactic of desperation with a heavy cost.  In AH it would be the easiest method of destroying a ship at a very small cost.

Also, it is "kamikaze", a compound Japanese word of "kami" which means spirit or divine and "Kaze" which means wind.  It is a reference to the storms which wrecked the Mongol invasion fleets in 1274 and 1281, preserving Japanese autonomy.

Absolutely nothing stopping you from flying your plane into any of the ships!

you can even release your bomb and follow it in if you like.

But to allow the actual use of kamakaze planes is senseless,as it was an act of desperation and nothing in this game requires that!

I think this idea to should be revisited. I believe it has potential.

When your plane is burning, there is blood splattered all over your windshield and instrument panel, all you can see through the blood stained glass is an endless torrent of ack and the black clouds from exploding anti aircraft shells, but you have a bomb left and wish to detonate it with your plane on impact to give some sense back into what you are doing; don't you wish you had taken off in KAMIKAZE MODE?

This mode should be made available from the hangar. We already have four modes, Fighter, Attack, Bomber and Vehicle. It makes sense to add Kamikaze.

And really, how can you argue against it? Do you honestly believe some of the pilots in WW2 did not think they were in Kamikaze mode? Just imagine a bloke climbing into an experimental Me 163, or a 109 pilot facing 20:1 odds in 1945 over Europe. Or a more formal example: a Japanese pilot with a one way ticket to a US aircraft carrier. All of these meet my definition of true Kamikaze types of fellas!

For a successful Kamikaze sortie the pilot is awarded Kamikaze perks. This allows for bigger and better bombs for his next Kamikaze sortie.

Now. Kamikaze could be used in other types of sorties. For example, when my rook base is being horded by 40+ Bishop Jokers, and I wanted to take off to provide some resistance; I would choose 'Kamikaze' mode from the hangar.

Whose with me  :huh

Want the real ww2 combat experience? Up a Zeke, grab a bomb, and ram it into the boat. Then call HTC and cancel your account and never, EVER play the game again. And for good measure cancel your forum subscription, too. Because you're a kamikaze pilot, and now you're dead. No really, DO IT.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Actual death?

It would negatively affect the customer base.
