As always, it will be done when its done and released as soon as its done. HTC NEVER gives out dates. Look at how antsy everyone getting because HT said they "hoped" to have it out by the end of the year.

I can't wait either. Last night orange had the bish horde in full swing with most of the rooks fighting the knights in the NW... basically making their own horde 

Blue had the bish down to a few bases but there wasn't any fighting in the north with the rooks vs the knights. Both sides thought it important to hit the bish 

Nobody in AvA, early and mid had more GVs running than planes. I logged for the night. At least with WWI there will be one more chance at some fun.

If it's not up by Wendnesday night then I don't think we'll be seeing it until January.  Who the heck wants to be in an office (even HTC's office) on Christmass Eve?  Other players have mentioned in the past that HiTech doesn't do his Santa run on Christmass Eve from the office but from his house (don't know if that's true, but if his account has Admin privs then I'd imagine it being quite doable).  HTC has cranked out a lot of progress/updates already this year, really pushing for the major stuff to be out before the year's end, and the WWI arena will be done when it's done.


Now, since they're making sure it's gonna be perfect for it's release, I want to know how many players/gunners/kegs the Zeplins are gonna hold?  I have dreams of a death-star-plin-party, clearing the skies and raining down empty beer containers with my squadies everywhere we go.

They wouldn't put it up Wednesday either... same reason they don't put things up on Fridays. If there's some issue, someone needs to be around to release a patch. I would think they're expecting some issues with something new like this.

Work on the WWI expansion is progressing along and will be in the next version. We had hoped to have it completed by the end of this year but we're running a little bit long with development. We expect to have it out in the early part of the year.
