Ice Cream Barge

In 1945, the Navy commissioned the worlds first "floating ice cream parlor" for service in the Western Pacific. The parlor was a concrete barge, built at a cost of over one million dollars, that was capable of producing ten gallons of ice cream every seven seconds.  Two of them were deployed in the Pacific, the first one was towed by a special tug boat and would actually cruise with the fleet, while the second one was anchored off Naha, Okinawa.

I would like to see this ship as part of the CV fleet in game.  Imagine after a hard day fighting off numerous attacks while sitting in the CV fleets AA guns, it can make a guy a little hungry for some ice cream.  With this barge, we would be able to enjoy some ice cream in between attacks.

Lesser Known Facts of World War II

This would be the most important addition to Aces High since this game was released 10 years ago and would be far more accurate than the "supper CV" someone else asked for.

Although I do think this idea has potential, I'd like to see the supply carrying Mule implemented first.

The supply carrying Mule was used extensively, and would go a long way to offset the apparent animal discrimination we see in the game (There is a strong favor for sheep as opposed to other animals).

ok so if I use rockets on the icecream barge, now I have to worry about seeing thru icecream, in addtion to blood and oil. and instead of perkies, do we get a coupon for .50 cents off at baskin robbins?
