DA A-20
« on: December 18, 2009, 01:43:30 PM »
I want to be able to fly A-20's, Il-2's, B-25's, SBD's and all the other bombers that can be used as fighters.

I completely agree.  I'll actually go in that arena for a change if these planes are enabled.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

They are... in fact... all bombers are enabled at A35 & A36 in the "Bombers Run" area... even the Ar234.  As a matter of fact, I was in the DA last night with some of my squaddies practicing our FSO rides this week, and a formation of Lancs flew over Furball Lake at about 25K.  You should have seen the swarm of fighters that went after them.

Anyway... its only a 2 sector flight from A35 to get to the middle of Furball Lake, if you want to fly into the horde or Spit16's and Tempests... or, if you are there to duel with squaddies or a select few, its about the same distance from A36 to A34.

The big blue sectors are not "No Fly" zones... they are water.

We use that area to practice for FSO all the time.  Some of our squad will take what we are going to fly, and the others will take what we will be flying against.  And if that means bombers, we fly em in the DA.
