Ive been away from AH for a while now, and I really miss the plane.

Someone gave Frenchy a beautiful P-47 wallpaper wich I am using right now, its very beautiful.

But I want a P-38 wallpaper, and I want it NOW!!!!!!

P-47 is not my favorite looking plane but that wallpaper was just plain beautiful.

A closer look reveals that this is actually more of a LW wallpaper, in context of Aces High and title such as "SISSY BOY!"

Otherwise, it's a pretty good P-38 picture

The P47 Wallpaper Picture of the P47 given to me is from the book:

"flying Legends" From John M.Dibbs, Lowe & B.Hould Publishers. But I don't think there are some nice pics of the P38. Some great ones of the spit, some of the P51/ME109 who have been posted in P51/109 pictures.

Can u find this book in your country? I may be able to find it here for u if not.
