Map Reset? Eeehhhmm? 40+23+33= reset?
« on: December 20, 2009, 10:16:54 AM »
Does anybody accept GHI Knew how to reset a Map?
yesterday Bish was with only 4 Bases
And no reset
Bish was full outnumbered and No one ups
was 12 Bish on
105 Rooks on
and
128 Knights on
Today I see the same Map no reset
-I want Old Reset Rules Back
you down to 3 Bases?= Reset
Reset wins who got Most Bases
Reset give every Player 3x 100 perk
But!
When you Loggin in AH you Log as the Last you was you played Last as Bish you Log as Bish
Than you will see the Online arenas and you see only How many Bish each Arena are on and How many Allowed
so the Balance will be about the same to other country's
if 1 country's players are going less the Allowed for other country's will go down
so I think the Balance will be OK.

Please HTC Think it over

Who doesn't know how to get a reset?

Hint:  You have to attack both countries, not just the low numbered side.

Makes it somewhat of a challenge that way.

But they never do. They only dogpile the smaller side (usually knits), until it's in the corner, has no radar, no ords at any field, nonstop attackers over its HQ and strats....

And the map never resets. It doesn't work properly. The rules need changing. Once I figured that both bish and rooks had about 42-45% of knit fields, but none of each others. We were in the pocket with a handful left and being reamed from both hordes at once.

It needs changing so that this either 1) is discouraged or 2) triggers some new rule to do something else -- i.e. reset despite both other teams not taking each others' fields (or whatever-rule-you-might-suggest)

true about the hording on knites by both bishop and rooks yesterday.  however dont forget lots or knights switched to rooks because they wanted the win the war perkies.  and its been happening for the last 3 or 4 days in both arenas.  but you guys are right if once country gets down to only a few bases lets reset the map, but award no perkies to any country since no one actually won the war.

Notice: if you switch country you have to be over 360 minutes a member of this country and have to play over 60 minutes to get Perks when reset is while you play.

That's the point though.  It doesn't need changing.  It works the way it is.  If the "W1N TH3 WarZ!!1!" was so big a deal maybe someone would look at a map and do what is necessary to win instead of hording the small numbers and then whining about not being able to reset the map.

Small maps get reset in a few hours.  Big maps take work.

Either way, who cares.  I rarely land and can get more perks in two or three flights than I can from a reset.

If so, they didn't get them. You need to be in that country for 12 hours before you can get win-teh-war perks.

I remember last week the Knights were down to very few bases in a LW map and nobody was complaining. Granted more people were upping than how may you said were for the Bish. Either way having fewer bases should help out by concentrating the players and not spreading them out. Simple as that. IMO The fact that the Bish weren't upping says they only fight a fight they're winning..  :x

Also IMO, and maybe it's because I'm a Knight and I'm used to being an underdog, but as a flyer on an out numbered side you have EVEN MORE targets to go after! So look on the bright side and fight back!  :rock

maybe what we need is a true balancing option.  lets say one country has way too many players then do not allow anybody from the other countries to switch to that  country.  or lets say once the eny gets above 10 then no more country switching to the high eny country.

Or can we set it that each country can only have a maximum number of people.

I believe the rules need to be relaxed a bit.

The way it is now, only way to win a map is when you have some a big horde online rolling undefended fields.

The current rules for winning a map do not encourage good game dynamics.

Surrender option.
There should be a dialog that a country has in the officers mess to surrender.
If 80%(or what ever) of the team wants to force a reset of the map they can. By surrendering their side.  Costs each player 20 perkies,  Divide those perkies between the other players on the other teams evenly.

The "third" country, whom ever it is in a given week, can be a hard place to enjoy the game. Back in the day, the two other countries could hem you down 1 base, the only place to fly was from one base that was under a full vulch for a whole night.
So progress has been made for sure.
