« on: December 20, 2009, 11:39:13 AM »
I am having problems with all the missions in my offmiss folder they don't appear in game on the maps they are set for and dont appear when I select show missions for all maps.

Any fixes for this?

Missions don't run out of the offmiss folder(.mis files) anymore, they run out of the missres folder(.res files).  Make sure you have the latest M.E. version.  Open the missions up in the M.E. from your offmiss folder.  When you open a mission up in the M.E., hit File->Build Res Library.  That will convert your mission to a .res in your missres folder and should be ready to play now.

Too bad we can't just download a mission and run it.  I know specific files need to be put here and there, but now you say we need to convert them.
I don't know, I just hope the new people coming on here aren't as lost as I am, when it comes to offline missions.

Yup this beginning to become more of a hassle than anything. I downloaded and installed the latest version of the offmisseditor and every time i go to run it it says it encountered a problem and needs to close.

Only old missions need updated.  Most of the ones you will find on the first page of the forum are ones for the current version.  You will know it's current if when you download it you receive a .res file instead of a .mis.  The last 3 or 4 I've put out are the current version.

Rune's Rumble II
Bloody Gulch Redux
Baron's Battle
NOE Strike by Stixx

All current & working bug free.

Nope, download those missions (and any that come out from this point on) and you are good to go.  I would have more of my older missions updated, but they also require a terrain update also.

Yep, the .res file goes in your MISSRES folder.
I'll see what I can do about the 38s. :)

can someone tell me how to get rid of the loud music on the missions, I want to only hear the planes and the stresses on the planes.
