Is the message, "Losing UDP, switching to TCP" the message? That simply means there is packet loss on your Internet connection. That can be for a number of reasons.
Applications cannot change routes. That is what the ISP does.
When the above error happens, immediately run a Ping Plot (
www.pingplotter.com free version at the bottom of thier download page) to 206.16.60.38 for a few minutes and see if packet loss shows up and where.
Are you on a wireless connection? That can also cause that problem due to higher than average bit error rates in the data stream.
There are a few hundred oterh reason why it can happen, but let's just gather some data for a moment before going off the deep end.
