Well, according to the rules, multiple threads on the same subject are, like frowned upon..

& how 'bout an answer to the query?

 Y'now, rather than needless bio-posting..
 or other extraneous what-not..

If you don't have an active account you can still download the game
and test fly whatever you want. You can also visit AHWiki:

If I recall correctly, the Tempest in AH does 386mph on the deck.

seems data doesn't exactly support your belief...

i don't think the one in ah has the sabre 2b engine in it...the specifics may be in another discussion somewhere on these boards.

I keep getting surprised by the idea that my on-line flying career is much longer than the ages of many of todays players.  :aok

It still wierds me out a little when I find players who've been playing Flight/Combat flight Sims longer than I've been on this planet o.O

The Millenium was awesome, I was 14 and already punishing my liver.  :D

GTA London 1969, Driver, SWAT3, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Baldur's Gate were fun that year.

I was flying on Microsoft Combat Flight sim that was released a year earlier :)

Holycrap, I forgot all about the song they made just for HW1!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2AhjhYWDUM

Now I just want Gearbox to use the IP they got, make Homeworld 1 with new graphics and a few SMALL changes they used in Cata and HW2 (and not stuff it up!). I will even replay all the missions even if they are 100% identical to the first.

1. I want to micro manage my fighters! Don't place them in groups of 5 that can regen "free" ships as long as 2-3 can dock.
2. Free Camera movement from 2.
3. Don't add "tracking heavy weapons" and not allow both missiles/beams/guns on the same ship below dreadnought or battlecruiser class. I hated how heavy guns in Cata could render all your fighters useless after the plasma shot was researched!
4. No Warp gates. That is what your Hyperspace generator is for.
