i'm probably only an average stick. but i got here with help from guys all helping me.

Be glad to have ya fly along with 71 sqd anytime. MOST of the squad is older types. I'm 47 and have 6 grandkinds myself. 171 vox on the Knights side. Hell if ya never learn a thing you'll have fun doing it with us.

There are people who just ask and ask and ask but never really try to learn things, the spoon feed me and spoon feed me NOW types. It's their attitude that prevents them from really learning or learning how to learn the game. Tough to really teach or mentor these types.
There are also people who you can teach a thing or three to and it somewhat inspires them to learn more if you show them where to learn it. Its a pleasure to run across this type and I go so far as to give them my email address if they have any questions. Doesn't matter if they're a squaddie or not.

Sort of boils down to 'you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink' cliche.
