Texas - when your driving across the state and your only a quarter of the way..... europeans in your truck are already asking if your still in the same country. It really hard for a lot of europeans to fathom the shear size of the state and all the land.

Yepp... Too densely populated to my taste. Although Texas is only twice as large as Finland, there's four times as much people. Guess the Texans even have to greet their neighbours and do some small talking?

The bulk of the population is based in and around larger cities. You can drive many miles and not see another soul in many parts.

To illustrate this:

And btw...

Australia is 7,617,930 Km2

Texas is 696,241 Km2

The difference is 6,921,689 Km2

In other words a huge difference.

And there are only 20,000,000 of us and we still cant stop hording each other.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

Ah but Texas is the only State that hangs its flag at equal height with the American flag. Also its the only state that can secede from the Union. Texas also was its own country, we where asked to join the United States.

I have always pointed them in your direction Gorkle.  I, for one, know how difficult it is to get people united under one banner.  Anyhow the game is more than that it has a worldwide attraction and it is rather nationalist to think that everybody from such and such a place should be in one kick bellybutton squad.   :aok

You've obviously forgotten how droll Gorkle can be Bruv.

If you cut Alaska in half, Texas would be the third largest state.  :neener:

Umm, any state can secede from the Union.  there is no federal law that can not stop them to do so.

There's nothing in the Constitution that allows for secession... there was a little war about 150 years ago about that... you may have heard of it... the Civil War I think it was called? ;)

Who cares about west Virginia.
No one, why would you bring it up?
