problems in the dueling arena.
« on: December 28, 2009, 06:13:29 PM »
If you look at tank town at the dueling arena you will see that the knights own all of it which isn't fair for the people who want to have gv fights there. I'm hoping skuzzy will see this and change it back.

It's a shame HTC is handicapped by their arena layouts that they can't really run an effective versatile DA problem free.  For example, recent problems and current problems:

1) Bombers flying and dropping hangars at furball lake.
2) Bomber/Fighter planes such as the A20, IL2, Sbd that can't be dueled with.  Heck, even the Ar234 would be fun to duel.
3) 1v1 Fights on side bases being interrupted by griefers.  No recourse other than switch fields and hope you don't get followed.  No mods to enforce player rules on side bases.
4) Bombers dropping the HQ and it affecting the entire map.  (Fixed)

Those are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more.

Can't you go to 1 of the 4 scoring arenas and play? You and your boys could go to early war and give them some company. They need it.  ;)

Numbers 1 and 4 are moot, and have been for a few months.  The arena config was changed to stop that nonsense.

I'll fix the GV fields this morning.

Yeah,  I wasn't sure about #1 but I recalled the griefing a few months ago so I posted it.  #4 I noted that it had been fixed.
