well everyone,

i had been in contact with murdr, he is in a band called "torn". he called me this evening. he and his band will be taking a road trip to dayton so that they can play for us!!!  :rock :rock :rock :rock

more details will follow as the dates get closer, will make sure to have everything set up with "Torn" so they will come play for us!!!!

Awesome Betty!!!  I hope you're able to pull this off

now I need to figure out how to get there from here.......... who in  North Carolina is going?

you all ( everyone going to this ) need to get the word out and possibly "Increase" the attendance  :rock  :banana: <---I can dance like this, it requires no foot movement  :D

I tend to act crazy when the music is good.  Kinda like me and Jaxxo singing "Seek & Destroy" at the air show when it came on during the Thunderbirds routine  :D

just a matter of talking to the band's manager and answering his questions....great thing bout this is we kill 2 birds with one stone, we get to meet murdr and hang out with him along with also havin some kick arse tunes!! im really lookin forward to 2010 dayton gathering, every year it gets better and better :)

I'm going to try (East side of NC).  So far assuming I can make it I was talking (few pages back) with Nef about Car-pooling since he lives about 2.5-3 hours away from where I'll likely be the weekend before. :)
Course if someone near-by (within 5-6 hours away) needs a ride I'm always willing to try my best, have a feeling Nef would rather have more people to get drunk with then ride in a car with me. :uhoh

Boxgirl and i are in NC, were right by Columbus in polk county. to us the more the marrier!   but were thinking about leaving thursday AM and staying thru sunday night coming home monday. 

if ya wanna meet up with us share the gas were cool with it!

That's not too far away and is like "on the way" for me........( just googled it   )

so 137 miles to ya.......

A: Lexington, NC
B: Columbus, NC

I can get to ya in 2 hrs or less ( prob lot less ).......

what type of vehicle accommodations will ya be using?

TC  well probably drive old blue!  mid 90s mercury marquee.   never know what might change between now and then.  i hope they finallly get I-40 opend back up to knoxville.
