My $15 trumps anyones $15 as far as I'm concerned. Just because it's me! :rofl If someone wants to run a mission from a cv and they announce it I either join the mission or stay away. There is other action to be had. If someone beats me to a kill I don't care. I'm just glad they are there helping.

when i had people yellin at me one time that i upped on a cv, i told em.....oops, sorry....i'll fly the other way away from the base.

then i'd say....aww dam!! somoene upped, and saw me....i have no choice, i have to engage em......then i just kept re-upping.  :devil

It should be obvious by now that winning the war is EVERYTHING! Well almost..... being "ranked" very low is also a MUST. It is impossible to have any fun without doing these two things.

There is nothing I like better then getting together with my friends and showing them film of our beloved rook country winning the war and getting those perkies. I print out my score sheet and tape it to my back when I go out. It can be a pain though because you have to stop and sign all those autographs and take all those pictures with those HOT girls.

Ahhh the life of a pilit :frown:

I typically ask if anyone is sneaking in with the CV before upping and giving away its location (provided peeps aren't already upping).  Just a team courtesy.

There's a very simple solution that keeps this atrocity from ever happening again.

HTC writes a itty-bitty coad that creates a blue CV icon when an Uber-Admiral assumes CV command. Upon his, and only HIS discretion, he types .readysetgo into the text buffer, which changes the icon from blue to green. You are now free to lift from the CV.

Pretty smart. eh?

I hate it when ack-ack controls the cv-- he always makes us listen to him do this speech first.......

Well it is a pain when guys start upping off the CV because the are to lazy to fly a half a sector from a land base just to start a furball before the CV fires the first 8" shell at the base being attacked. Then you pull up that field on the clip board and see all the ords are not only still up at that base but the next closest enemy bases. Then five minutes latter the CV is sunk and everyone is surprised. When you up off the CV before the ships guns has had an effect on the town and all ords are down. All you are doing is giving it away. The same goes when a base is under attack from another land base. Everyone asked for uppers to hold that base. But all ords VH and troops are still up at the attacking base.

Here is a clue to saving your base PORK TROOPS AND ORDS at the enemy base, attack over base saved. One guy in a heavy P-51D can pork all ords at a larger base and fly home I do it all the time. Yes they can re-supply it but then go pork it again. If they are driving M-3 to re-supply all day they ain't attacking you. I am sure guys are rolling their eyes at this information because it sounds simple only because it is. Give it a try some time I think you will be pleased with the results.
