I would be able to choose plane icon on clipboard map because it so white on a rather white background that it is so very difficult to spot it immediately that always i must enlarge map as i am looking for an invisible ant! A black color would be better for me.

  True,once ( 2003) the maps where Grass greens than they went to Gray and white the Icon Plane on map dint change

Haven't seen anything like that on my system. Plane icon is white, water is blue, ground is tan...bases are the correct colors.

You can change the color of all icons though.... What do you need done?

My maps have planes and bases as different colors.  Most colors have a fluorescent nature to them and all planes are easily distinguishable.

I think he's talking about the plane shaped icon on the map that represents your position. If so, I agree.

Same here, never had that trouble. Plus, unless its in icon range, a plane out over the ocean, or in the middle of the continent doesn't directly concern you.

Reminds me of that one wish where we could make an enemy con apear on the map for all to see.

Now you see on the second Picture the Plane is more Visible cause the island is Green
