Newer maps and a big Ruh-Roh! AvA Players - please read!

Hey pilots,

The AvA has just received some map changes: arden08(minor updates), mindan09(new version), and rangon09(new version).

When we did this update, however, we fat-fingered the table that housed Squadron names.

As a result, we need everyone to re-do the squadrons in the AvA.  All squads (including mine), got deleted with this update. I understand this is a P.I.T.A on a major scale, but please forgive us for this error.  

As a way of saying sorry and for your appreciation of the best arena in Aces High, at next year's con, Skuzzy and I will buy any AvA pilot in attendance a free drink at the social.

rangon09 is only a repair to the coastlines and some icon corrections. Similar for bob09 when it's put on the servers.

You need two players to form a squad.

This may be the wrong forum for it, but does BOB incorporate any of the changes that were envisioned way back, like radar towers being remodeled, etc?

Or just straight-up terrain remapping with same old custom objects?


Because if they were redoing BOB, it would have been the PERFECT time to include a number of mega-strats around London, Paris, etc...

No. I was tired of flying FSO with blocky shorelines, so I chose to close my eyes and do minimal repairs to those two at this time.

I tried to re make our squad also, last couple of days. still not working for me

even tried to invite you Fork, when u was in there  ( I think yesterday evening? ) and it says something like

can not make squad  or somethinanother.........

any idea of when this will be fixed?
