What, like our California problem? What about our Florida problem? Will that get washed away as well?

Jayhawk, I feel your pain. Up here, alongside the mighty Missouri, Parkville is pretty darn cold as well, with foot-deep snow.

Minus 20c, that's a bit chilly. We're lucky here in the gloriously tropical West of Ireland. They're only forecasting -12 deg C tonight. Thinking of going to the beach. Just as well global warming is here, otherwise it would be even colder.

Been down to -6 centigrade down here on the Dorset Riviera. Chuffing chilly and I'm bored of it now, if I wanted to be cold I'd move up north.

The thing that a lot of people forget is that, though these temps are close to normal for certain areas of the world they are not even close to normal for most parts of the UK. We see the posts of "oh well it's -20 here", yes it is but those type of temps come around every year. From all of my years in UK I very rarely saw significant amounts of snow or temps in negative figures, since moving to the US I see these things every winter and expect them.

I'm not sure if tongs is suffering the same way as I am, but its been consistently unusually hot and humid here. at least 90 f every day and a threat of rain. No wonder I'm running out of beer.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.
