Personally, I think the people that continuously say the C or H word, in-game, should be warned once and than banned as well.

Without mention any names......... Last night the same person went on and on about it.

"There's no way you could have killed me" "you must be _______"  " I cant do it so you must be ________"

For a good half hour............

How many 2 weeker's were on last night?

Should be made  a sticky, at least for a while.
+1

Ive seen a hand full of people that need to read this. They like throwing the H and C words around like its nothing.

Sticky this not only for a bit, but for good :aok

These policies and professional attitude are a major reason I love this game. Of course the game itself and the folks who play are a part of that as well but it is the efforts to reduce or eliminate cheating that I truly appreciate. Day in and day out I know I can come and play without dealing with hordes of script kiddies using 'godmode'. Keep up the excellent work HTC it is greatly appreciated.

Thx you HT.  Not sure if you guys have this but for every new account made, you guys should have what you posted above as a grim reminder to all.  Especially this, "3. HTC Has in the past and may again in the future pursue criminal or civil prosecution of hackers."

Sometimes, because of some problems here, I don´t play AH for a long time.

But, I still pay my subscription, because of the way HTC treats us, customers, like no one else. We can say thank you, etc, but the best way to show appreciation is paying the $14.95.  :aok

I also pay happily because of the way HTC handles hacking, exploiting, etc if it´s a map or plane bug they fix it. If it´s hacking, well... all know what happens...  :old: :furious

i don't see that or anything as being undetectable.....

that said, regardless of how they deal with the current issue, i'm glad for being able to be part of this community, and for the game that we all get to play.  :aok

Roger that. I didn't mean for that to be interpereted as accusatory, sorry if it came across that way. I merely thought it may be worth looking at as well. Like I said, I know nothing about programing puters.

That said, I really enjoy what HTC has done, enjoy every minute flying (even when frustrated getting my arse kicked). I continually call out the whiners who think "this or that feature is stupid, etc." because what they have done here is amazing to me and I am just greatful t be able to participate.

mornin,

not trying to tell you how to run your business.......just offering a suggestion.......

i perfectly well understand why you don't want this subject talked about here.

what i would think, though, is that when something like this comes up, possibly a post of XXX was caught attempting to hack this game, and has been banned. along with this, all of their information has been turned over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.

nothing about how they tried, or how they were caught....just their name(public shaming can be a powerful weapon in the fight against this), and that they WILL be prosecuted for this.

if people are seeing that you mean business, they're more likely to move on i think...and with absolutely nothing here concerning this, they can't see that.

again, not trying to tell you how to run your business, but rather offering a suggestion.

Generally they tell on themselves.

Hitech, I have always felt you and your crew have done an admirable job. Sometimes when I see something that is questionable I always feel assured that the situation will be addressed. That is what I have seen in my 9 years of AH.

I havent been around very long but I love the game and the people in it.  Cheaters are inevitable, but IMHO they are very few and far between here.  You have the guys that pull off moves or shots that leave you thinking how in the hell did he do that!?!  Again IMHO is that its like everything else there are a very few naturals that are just damn good.  There are a few that work and train and become good. (I hope to fall into this catagory some day.)  And then there are the rest of us used as cannon fodder!  Dont let the few bad seeds ruin the game for guys.   :salute
If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics suck!
