it just snags it dosent whip around as it would from a light source I know what you mean about that that's not the issue
yes... but its happening mostly when looking up 75deg. I have to reset my center key to get vis on bandit.. ie look forward/ hit center view/ then i can look up at 75deg and those precious seconds count as you all know. In a vertical rolling scissors its really important.
it locks at about 30deg /then I need to recenter view /then I can look up again.
Thanks guys
I'm going to look into the powered usb supplie just to be sur I thought there might be a relationship with how AH deals with track ir.
Raven, my experience with Trackir problems (I had many break-in issues when I bought mine) says:
1. use a powered USB hub, otherwise, trackir function'll cut out during play
2. Turn off all light sources behind you/in the sensor's aspect of view - of course, Trackir provides a view of what the Trackir sensor sees. If it's more than the three reflectors, you've got a light interference issue.
3. Make sure, again by checking tracking, that the clip is in the sensor's field of view.
Doing those three things got me to a place where all I had left to do was tune my profile. Since then, it's worked relaibly with one notable exception: if I raise my head past vertical, it'll often give me a view of the cockpit seat. I can only recover my normal view by F12-ing (fn F12 on my mac, actually); recentering the view.
