9GIAP You guys!
« on: January 09, 2010, 12:49:49 PM »
What is it with you guys and twins? Every friggin time you're in either 110s or A-20s you just seem to go off on a major killing spree. Was just lookin at the logs and had to laugh when I got to yours. 16 kills in A-20s. On an attack mission and those guys just got in your way I guess LOL.

When will they ever learn? :rofl

Perk the A-20G!

Yeah we ran into the Muppets first.  The lads may have done better if I had let them get rid of the bombs :)

Actually I must say a big "bravo" to the Muppets in that fight.  For some reason they were down low at the same level we were and they just tore in regardless - regardless of our escort that is.  Really that was one heck of fight.
I managed to ram some poor beggar while trying to flip out of the way of his shot up plane. A20 with internals just doesn't "flip"

We then had to wade through some G6s and then some more 190s and then some G14s.  I think we were exhausted by the time some AKs turned up.  We were down to 4 planes by then, two with an engine out and two with no ammo left.  In the end fuel starvation meant that we ended up with only one safe returnee.
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

Hi guyzz!!!
Glad to be part of 9GIAP!
I'm from Paris, France, (SirNuk's neighbor).
My precedent squads: >>>PARROTS<<< and >FAFL ALSACE 341<. I fly for 3 years now online, beginning in Warbirds and came to AH fall 2007.

I'm 38 this year, and have a 7Yo son. I'm working in advertising industry now fulltime, after freelancing, and I'm a former professionnal bass player and teacher.
I'm also member of a french association called FTV, who helps and restore the last flying France based B17G, the Pink Lady http://www.thepinklady.fr. Our association also works on many nice birds, and you can see our collection here: http://www.ajbs.fr/musee5.php
I started flying by myself in 2009, when $$ is available. I'm working on my PPL, and use to fly sometimes with a friend, Catherine Maunoury, Aerobatics World Champion, but as a vomiting-passenger for the moment ;)

Hope to see you soon in the air, and Salute! <S>
