I remember watching original Star Trek episodes and Dr Who (Tom Baker years) late at night on PBS...  Also, we watched some Space 1999...  Then there was always the original BattleStar Galactic series and Buck Rodgers...  Not so much sci-fi, but I remember watching The Greatest American Hero too...

Those are the ones that spring to mind at least...

The X-Files-  :noid(might be my favorite scifi series ever)

Star Trek- (original and Next Generation)

Dr. Who- (w/Tom Baker, and I vaguely remember a fat Dr. As a kid I had nightmares from the time tunnel in the opening credits, freaky!)

Red Dwarf-  :rofl(the episode were Rimmer goes nuts w/ Mr Fribbles the stuffed penguin, is one of the funniest things I've ever seen)

Highlander- (movie and series, theme music by Queen  :rock)

Airplane 2-  :rofl(William Shatner's funniest role ever, as the Moon base commander)

Airplane 2-  :rofl(William Shatner's funniest role ever, as the Moon base commander)

Shatner- "All right, meet me on the tower."
lackey- "We have no tower.  Just a bridge sir."
Shatner- "No tower?  WHY THE HELL AREN'T I NOTIFIED ABOUT THESE THINGS!"  :furious

Shatner is freaking hilarious.

Buck Rogers, Lost in Space, Star Trek - Original, Next Gen., and the movies, the others were just beyond stupid.
BattleStar  Galactica
Inframan
Ultraman

There is a cartoon that I can't remember the name to of a Space Battle Ship that was really cool, one of the first Anime cartoons

Of course the Transformers cartoon

CAP,

If i remember correctly, didnt Ultraman have a little blinking light on his chest, that when it went out he was out of power or something like that? It seemed to happen every episode IIRC.

yea, it did. it would always start flashing during a fight....and he'd have to hurry up and finish off the monster,,,,,,then fly to the sun to recharge.
i think there was one episode where he didn't make it in time....

the Space 1999 Series, i loved the design of the Eagle space ships, still looking very good IMHO.

Space 1999
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
UFO
Battlestar Galactica
Battle of the Planets
Dr Who

love Space 1999, lets say alot of it hasn't exactly aged well (not as badly as UFO) but I still have a late '70s Dinky die cast Eagle on the book shelf (next to an original series Colonial Viper)
