World War 2 question.
« on: January 09, 2010, 05:40:32 PM »
If Italy didnt fall during the war and the axis powers had won, Do you think Hitler would share the world 3 ways with Germany, Italy and Japan? Or do you think he would try to take over Italy and Japan? I beleive that he thought the only good races were Germans. I am not sure how he felt about Asians. What do you guys think?

I think you should go ask hitler, tojo and mussolini that question.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Well Hitler and Stalin had an agreement too...  How did that work out for the Soviets?

Hitler was a supremest, his race was the only race that was right as fr as he was concerned ie. Arian Nation, he would have tried to take over the rest of the world.

The world was far to big for the axis to win the war.  But to answer your question, sluggish answer it the best.

If Italy didnt fall during the war and the axis powers had won, ?

I think you should define the situation at "victory" first. How did they win, what did they win and how is the world looking at that point?

At best Mussolini would have been a 2nd rate puppet.
In the end Hitler would have gotten tired of fixing his screw-up's and would have had him assassinated or removed.

Japan is a harder question, enough separation there that they'd of coexisted for some time before problems arose.

Hitler's real ambition was to the East. He wanted their land and he had every intention of taking it. In truth as far as he was concerned, most of Europe was aryan in some form or other. Western Europe anyway. It was the 'sub human' Jews and Slavs he wanted rid of. His SS had no trouble kidnapping blond blue eyed Polish children and handing them over to Aryan parents and thus converting them to Germans. That was the madness of Nazism.

If the Nazis had won, Europe would have been converted into a series of Fascist regimes not unlike Hitler's Germany. They would have been vassal states of Germany but nominally independent. As would Italy and no doubt Spain. Britain could well have remained independent as would my country based on it's proximity to Britain but always at the whim of an all powerful Germany. To the East a concerted campaign of genocide against perceived Slavic sub humans, the Jews and Gypsies and their replacement by Aryans which would gradually Germanise Eastern Europe.
So would Italy be taken over? No, no need.  They were already onside, just like all the other Axis countries and in truth many occupied countries would have followed suit. There were plenty of volunteers from occupied countries like Norway, Denmark, France, Holland willing to fight for Fascism.

No my main question about what would happen if Germany won, is what would happen when Hitler died of natural causes as he was bound to considering his ill health even in 1945. There was no natural successor and Hitler always ruled by making his followers work against each other. They were always attempting to put one over each other. They were essentially gangsters and inevitably when the big boss dies there's a gang war. I think the thousand year reich would barely survive Hitler's death even if the war was won.

My guess is he would take over Italy and made sure Japan stayed an island nation.

IF that had happened as cpxxx states then I believe Himmler would have become the man in power and then the generals may have had a chance to run the war the way they wanted to. As long as they let the SS clean up after them and be the spear tip in certain situations.
