He has been playing this game pretty much from the beginning & I have no clue who the 418Th Hornets are? They an old squad?

You're probably thinking of the time a vet was Voss as a shade account over half a year ago or so.  That probably made Chalenge feel safe though which is why he made an effort to point it out to you.  'I can't be Voss if Voss is on!'
