however p-38H was lighter than the L all be it 12 mph slower at 5k and 15 mph slower at 25k due to inferior turbocharging although it had the same engines as the J/L.
I'm also interested in experiencing the horid roll rate (already present in p38L at low speed

) and deadly mach tuck dive performance that exists past 420 mph.
It would be a good variant though the way the 109 series was.
would need new canopy and many new engine boom changes along with a nice faded weathered olive drab paint job (Aeromaster 9040 U.S. Olive drab 41)
