Amazes how many people want everything historically accurate to a T in a full production movie. I'd recommend picking apart a History Channel documentary for more giggles. I don't watch a war/historical and judge it entirely on historical accuracy, a paint job wrong for the plane or period, I'm much more worried about the acting and plot to judge overall story telling. God forbid I hear someone cry about 300 again. If you want to "learn" about history, I hope we all know the true sources of this.
That aside, the visuals were quite well done, an obvious overall strength. Though the movie suffered from screenplay issues, it was enjoyable. Matthias Schweighöfer I thought did a fine job, he was hindered by some poor lines IMO. I'd give it a B-/B. Probably wouldn't watch it again.
