Your Aces High call sign? It's significance?
AirScrew. I was a dental tech for 20 years in the USAF. One of my many additional duties was Flight Dentistry NCO, I worked with the Flight Medicine guys to schedule pilots dental exams and work around the flying and training schedules. Anyway we always referred to the pilots as Wingnuts and airscrews. Wingnuts was taken already. I also found out a few weeks ago looking at some plans for P47 or P51 that an airscrew is also part of a plane, located somewhere between the prop and the engine, no idea what it does.

AH is my first online flight sim. And its a hoot. I've played almost every boxed sim released since F15 Strike Eagle on my Apple IIc in 87.
Do you have any other connection to aviation or WWII?
My grandfather was a tank mechanic in Europe served under Patton. Only things I remember him talking about was being at the Battle of the Bulge, trying to fix tanks while Patton kept pushing forward, and that Patton was a real SOB but the men respected him.
My Dad was in the AF post Korea to Mid 70's, and did weather for awhile, then worked air operations, and Forward Air Controller and finally a recuiter.
My wife was an avoinics tech on F-111's and EF-111's for 6 years at Lakenheath and Mountain Home.
Myself, I have taken pictures of planes, studied, read, built models, gone to hundreds of airshows and museums and dreamed of flying since I was 9. And someday before I die I will fly.
Other interesting things about yourself.
Although I was a dental tech for 20 years, because of all those "additional duties" I felt I was more than just a "dental assistant". I have a military license to drive everything from a M1A1 Jeep to field ambulances, 21/2 trucks, buses, forklifts upto 32k forklift used by the Marines. I got training from Special Forces 2 weeks each summer for 10 years (4 years by Marines, 3 years by Special Forces) on perimter defense, booby traps (finding them and setting them), orienteering (map & compass), marshalling helicopters, and radio communications. I did everything from cutting the grass, to systems admin for 80 users and their pc's.
