If he is flying the 110c it is greatly different than if he is flying the G. With the lighter gun package and light fuel the 110c turns very well. Maybe not a6m2 well but ~spit I well once flaps are out. The Unforgiven trained 110c vs spit I a few months back for FSO and the 110 more than held its own. This training was done at 15k so that might be what caused them to be close in performance.

To be noted.  It's the C model Krupnski flies and not the G model.  Not really sure if this affects the fight much.  I wholeheartedly agree with you guys on the hypothetical winner with all things being equal.

That's incorrect Waystin, when I do fly a 110 I'm usually in a G. Flying a C against planes such as a F4U/Yak/Spit is sure suicide with its poor climb rate.
The 110G2 doesn't have the best climb rate either but it's much easier to hold it up and flip it around quick with the extra torque. Also, the quad 20mms and dual 30mms make for an easy snapshot given the chance.  :D

I stand corrected Krup!  You are no longer UBER since you are using the G model!  :neener:

As do I.  One year flying (this month) and not much time in the 110 and a poor choice of early-training heros I suppose.

hey W7.first off i just read your other post and welcome to aces high. there are plenty of people out there that are more than willing to lend a hand to new players. there is also the official trainer corps here as well. stumble into the training arena from time to time and you will see some trainers for sure.

(please dont take what im about to say personally trainers) but i definately reccomend ghosth or morfiend for a newer player anxious to get their feet wet. i believe you would be hard pressed to find anyone as kind and generous than them.

you mentioned in your other thread about a guy that flies an A20 with great success, i believe you have met cobia. :) amazing stick and a class act as well. last but certainly not least is humble. he flies the A20 With a great deal of success, but take my word for it he is equally deadly in any plane. :)

If you get a chance look him up when you are online see if he is availible for some winging. the guy is a virtual treasure chest of ACM and the few times ive had the pleasure of flying with him and his squad i had a blast and learned a good deal as well.

I really hope you look those guys up sometime soon, as im sure you will have a blast with them as well. All that being said, welcome to aces high..your newest addiction. :)

regards,
kjetil

Yup! It was cobia for sure, I was thinking that but not sure. MW Nobody could kill him in that A20. Thanks. I feel welcome here, it was a rocky start. I'm having fun!  :x

I would like to run a test on this zeak vs 110C.....I think if the fight got put into a vertical/rolling scissor I think the zeaks preformance just goes right out the window, If I remember right(havnt flown one in awhile) the zeaks got horrible control in stalls with flaps out :salute

Oh he dies in that A20 too. He's a good guy to fly with and against.

Hmmm ... not much stick time in a Zeke ... but can confidently predict the outcome of an experienced Zeke driver vs an experienced 110G2 driver.

That match up ... the Zeke will slaughter the 110.

I think I ran into Kup recently in his 110 vs my FM2 ... I believe he lost ... I just remember I had to work much harder for the win than the usual 110 that I run into.

Sure he does, but not regularly. I have not seen a better stick in the A20. Probably plays with Rt/Lt throttles to get that turn. It fly's a lot different than the 110 G2. The 110 has a funny, near stall, sudden, but recoverable, spin turn, that freaks people out the first time they see, it or do it accidentally.  :D I did fly it for quite a while in MW & really had fun learning it. You can really surprise a light & tight fighter when you out-turn them and shoot 'em down. probably because it it difficult to fly well.
