How come the TBM's the ONLY bomber avaiable in the Dueling Arena? Every time i fly it, it has little or no defense power against normal fighters. I try everything I can in the TBM in thr furballing arena of DA, but unfortunately, I get repeatedly shot down. Sometimes I score a kill, but that requires ALL of the ammo in the rear guns, including the stinger gun. Is there any way I can safely fly the TBM without getting shot down? & another thing: Y can't they fly the SBD5 in the FA in DA? :furious

I flew a tbm in the FA a couple of times just swerve in and out of the fight and hope you don't get spotted

Just why is it you think all the other bombers have been disabled?

Now ask yourself, are you working with the group, or against it.
Maybe you should rethink what your doing, where, and why.

Shoot 'em with the front guns.  The TBM is more effective (IMO) in a fight if you take a more aggressive stance.  Not many fighters can turn with it...

Either way, you'll be fodder for someone else diving in.

Wish they could enable the light bombers including the 234, but disable ords in the arena.

pointless.....Not many bombers that have a GREAT defence withot ords.

SBD is a great little fighter, will turn with anything, great flaps, dive brakes that will bounce your head off the canopy, and 720 rounds of .50.  Just dont count on catching anything that runs.

How does ordnance equal defense? Wouldn't being loaded with ordnance lessen the bomber's chances at survival due to the loss in speed?
