No...I bet this guys' uncle was flying wingman and witnessed the flak hit though.

My dad was the one in the flak that shot him down.

Actually, the P-82 was not used exclusively for ack testing, my uncle dads great grandbrother was killed in one in the last 2 days of the war in the pacific attempting to destroy a secret japanese nuclear sub.

The defense department just covered it up with the ack testing story, and the false 'in service' date
