Does ENY work now?

Local eny would be worse than what we have now. Eny should just be based on total number in flight like so many has said before

And how would you prevent (multi-squad) hordes from circumventing ENY? For examle 100 Bish online, having ENY 10. Another big horde mission posted by the usual suspects, 30+ players meeting in tower. Inflight numbers go down, ENY goes away, mission spawns on runway, all players at the same moment.

ENY should go bye bye! Should be replaced with an alternate perk system. Using a perk that would allow you to fly "anything" possibly costing you more!   One of the really bad aspects of eny for me was, if it got bad enough there would be enemy jets all over the friggin place yet I couldn't up one. There isn't much as fun as a "jet-fight". It is sad that most all peeps will only up jets when the risk is low. I would routinely up "expensive" jets to hunt "cheap ones"  

I say make it so you can fly anything you desire at anytime! Just make it "perk costly" to do so!

Oh as a side note, with such a system I bet HTC could make "BANK" selling perkies for a fee

All these attempts are just good ideas that don't work because people are going to be people.  Does ENY work in making people switch sides and get the numbers even?  Of course not.  Most players are married to their chess piece.  Moreover, they will not switch when they see win in the horizon and miss out on the - is it 15? - perks  .  Does it work in giving the defenders a chance to fight back?  yes 

Really, I checked with the FDA and there is no reason to worry.  No one is going to catch any disease if they find them selves in something other than a 5 ENY plane

i think it's fine, F4U-1 is freaking 25 if i remember correct. if you can't get a couple kills in that plane you have more problems than ENY can help.

ENY forces me to try new planes from time to time.  I'm okay with that. There are some darn good planes above 15 and 20 ENY if you spend some time in them.

The planes really aren't the issue. It's always fun flying high ENY planes. I love flying the jugs, mainly d25, but when it gets high enough to where I can't even fly that, then I get a little irritated.

Again, I still think there should be some kind of standard that ENY should be based on other than popularity.

I like that if it is really hi and you are on the receiving end of the horde, you can up a P40 and if you take down a couple of guys at a time your perk bonus is crazy.
