To give you a very vague clue...the faces in this photo should have been masked....although the one in question had his face plastered about for what he has done and willingly returned....these faces should not have been for public display....(nothing negative toward you here vulcan)

VC in the context of military leads me to believe your looking for:

 Victoria Cross...   ... maybe :headscratch: do they have that in NZ or just the UK.

He's probably drunk and trying to be cute.  Don't feed the troll.  If it's something he wants to share, he'll share.  If not, he's enjoying his ability to waste your time.  It looks to me like a shot from some movie that I don't have time to see or care about.  If it is something more important than some hollyweird actor running around the desert carrying a rubber ducky, then maybe he'll share.  Until then, he's just a troll and he's hooked at least half a dozen fish here.

What?   It's Willie Apiata, the only recipient of the Victoria Cross in NZ (IIRC, he's in the NZ SAS); for carrying a wounded brother through enemy fire in 2004(?)    He's not trolling.  Regarding the OP, he's probably heading back there for another Tour, or they are filming a Biopic of sorts on him.   Those Blokes in NZ or AUS would know more than this yank.  

Either way, I salute the Man for his Service to his Country.
