I think the Raiden would be a neat plane..along with the Tony they're the oddballs of Japanese single-engine fighters..the Tony because it's an in-line, The Raiden because it's a high-wing loaded boom and zoomer that dives well with limited maneuverability.

At least somebody agrees with me..

I think the Toryu would make an awesome high altitude bomber destroyer and a nice jabo bird...

Hear my list. It over laps yours:

Ki-27a
Ki-43-IIb and III
Ki-44-IIb and III
Ki-61-II
Ki-84-Ia and Ic
Ki-100-Ib
J2M5

Plus the others you listed. I'm sure that in time many of these plane will be on AH. I'm not to worried. I would like to see many of the game play issues worked out before anything else.

Right now, I think the best Japanese fighters to add would be the Ki-84 and possibly the Ki-100 (or Ki-61-II).   The Ki-84 is generally better, but the Ki-100 actually has decent performance over 20,000 feet.

Any other common Japanese fighter would be dogmeat in the current arena.

Except maybe the J2M JACK.  How did that plane perform?

We also ned some Japanese bombers.  The H8K would be awesome--and it could land in the water! (make it available from PT spawnpoints for water takeoffs)

 The Ki-45 is a cool plane...But the Ki-102 is WAY better..basicaly a late war Ki-45...

Also the kate would be nice but why add an early war torp bomber whean we could have the B6N2...

The Grace would be awsome as well...

As far as the rest i would sugest the P1Y1, The Ki-84 is a must, and the Peggy would be nice to, I would not mind the Jack or the Ki-100 I would just rather see the carier planes first and the Ki-84 before we get theam

I would love to see the Raiden. However, based on HTC's record, they like to get the most they can 'per' model. Therefore, a relatively 'lower' workload road to get two more Japanese birds in here would be the Ki-61 and Ki-100. I would love to see all the planes you guys mentioned, but I would bet that the two 'Tony' models would be the first to show up.

BTW Nefarious: The Ki-84 was the Frank  . I know you probably know that, just wanted to avoid any confusion between the Ki-61/100 series and the Ki-84.

thanks for correcring me sundog...

Well if i was to only pick two it would be the Ki45 and the B65N2

If your gonna add more Japanese planes you might as well add a good twin engine aircraft, and a torp bomber, since the japanese plane set in AH has niether...
