I predict apart from the usual fan buyup ipad will go the way of the newton. It's an oversized overpriced ipod touch, and has some glaring functionality issues. Gimme an Ideapad S10 anyday :)

Yeah all it is is a giant iphone.  This is Apples attempt to get into the netbook market, but I think the whole netbook thing is gonna be a failure.

I like the concept...but really a 15" laptop is small enough...I guess for travel purposes though. I was going to buy a netbook when I got my new laptop just to have...woulda been a waste of money.

I just think that people would rather just get a laptop then a netbook, but I guess will just have to wait and see if the market is there.
