OK being a Brit it's my odious displeasure to play the Simon Cowl bit.  yep she has talent.  The looks and stage presents can be worked on (working off poor vid and first impression).  However, there has to be hundreds or so, equally talented country singers working the circuit.

Can she or the band write their own stuff?  (not a country fan so don't know if that was original).  Can a tour be organised or a few competitions entered? 

As is, I would imagine she has every potential to fulfil a live music country circuit.  Stardom and riches is a different ball game involving hard work, fan base building, demo tapes and lots of luck.

No harm in sending out demo tapes in the US or even Europe.  Its been known for a few Americans to get famous over this side of the pond before their recognised at home.

When I was a lad...going out to pubs and clubs watching live bands I always appreciated bands that wrote and played some of their own stuff.  For me that's true talent... create it, write it, play it and sing it.  Singing a perfect  rendition of so and so is one thing but to stand their and say this is ours... is quite another.

Open mic's and sitting in for one or two with a band. Hard as it is to find a good singer, shouldn't be a problem at all.
