Why cant people just stop thinking of reason's why the B29 shouldn't be in here and just start thinking why it should be in here.

Because the reasons why it should not be added at this stage of the game far out numbers why it should be added.  That good enough or do I have to type it slower for you to finally understand?

I'm actually curious to see you, or somebody with real data, to show us the 2 lists?  For & Against it's addition.

They have been published in the past yet for some reason never accepted. The method of rejection greatly resembled that of gorillas in D.C.

I do not want to hijack this thread, but I stepped into this mudslinging contest about what is good/bad for gameplay in AH multiple times this past year.  Not you 2 gentlemen specifically, but the community in general.  I would like to see the B-29 but I can see it's impact on gameplay if flown historically,

because you know, for the most part it WILL NOT BE FLOWN HISTORICALLY... oh look! the dive bombing B29's are here !

and I do think there is a problem with large (and I mean large NOE missions for base capture).  Both have their relevant points.

There is that, but the way I look at it is this:  at a 1.0 perk value of 350 P(my proposed perk value) per plane a dive bombing B-29 will be the super target.

Make that a 4.0 perk value of 350 and I'll consider voting for it instead of against it. We have the Lancstukas now, imagine 22,000 lbs of b29superstuka dropping on a base with defense weapons that the pile-it never has to switch positions to ping you from 1.5k out accurately.

You would seriously perk the 29 more than the 262??

Yep, its a bigger threat!

262 has a very  limited amount of 30mm. B29 has an incredible amount of .50 ammo from not 1, not 2 but 3 planes. All firing at the same target. Once you get inside bomber convergence range 400 - 600 look out. Cause every gun that can see you is going to hit you at the same time.

Plus that same formation of bombers is going to be hard to catch.  Going to be like trying to catch B17's with a Zeke.
Doable, but a long slow painful process. And all that time that your closing from 1.0k in, he can be ripping you to shreds.
If he's smart enough to use auto angle and put it into a slight dive that time is going to be even longer.

Don't forget to add that without a perk cost or even a low perk cost, the B-29 would render all other bombers to essentially hanger queen status.

people always ask for "gap fillers" or other planes that have "historic" significance.  So HTC adds planes like the Brewster, and the... whatever that other little thing was..  people fly them for a day or 2 and then you seldom see them.

then they add planes that actually have some purpose and use in the bulk aspect of the game (MA) like the M Jug, and they got flown alot.

so.. better investment of time..  aircraft that are "novel" and will be used by 5% of the player base regularly, and largely ignored by the rest..  or aircraft that will actually be seen in the skies more than once in a blue moon..

not my decision of course, just thinking out loud.

Ive been thinking...  Should I add a remote starter to my truck, so when its hot i can start it early and cool her down, or when its cold start her early and warm her up,  aside from a month or 2 in spring and fall when the temp is "just right"  I would use it almost every day..    Or.. should I put a winch on my truck... I never go off road, except once in a great while when I go to the coast, and then I never get stuck.. but 1 day I might use it...    hmmm.. which is the better justified purchase...
