Has anyone else had the problem of not being able to get the gun sound on the D-Hog turned down using the sound set-up? I can turn the sliders down and test fire the gun on the tarmac and the guns sound is lower but shortly there after their just as loud as they were to start with???

Tyro, if you haven't already...
create a folder in your sounds directory titled f4u1d.
place these sounds in the directory, from your sounds folder
m2.wav
m2_2.wav
m2_3.wav
m2_4.wav
m2_5.wav

Now open sound recorder which can be found in Programs, Accessories
Open each of those sounds and reduce the volume and save them.

Now u have quiter volume f4u1d gun sounds.

This can be done for every sound in AH individually
I have used this method to increase the volume of flaps cuz I need to know they are activating.
